About Alex

I'm a graduate from UCL, a former classroom assistant working with primary age children. I write suspense fiction and play a number of instruments, including the guitar, bass, drums and keyboards. I love reading, music, cooking, exercise and petting dogs.

About the lesson

I work differently for each student because each student is different. We'll assess how you learn best so we can get the most out of our sessions. I'm a big believer in following any kind of passion in learning, so the work we end up with achieves high marks, but also is something students can feel proud of. Whether we are improving your reading (comprehension, analytical skills, speed), your writing (spelling, grammar, argument, economy of language use) or whatever else, we'll be tailoring the process so that it's the most successful it can be for YOU.
