About Jennifer
My name is Jennifer and I have worked with primarily 2nd and 3rd graders for the past 5 years. It is a fun age full of learning and discovery. I love to help kids learn and grow. I grew up with a love for reading and hope to help your student learn to love it too. I work in a Christian private school so if you prefer a faith based teacher I’d love to help!

After the initial assessment of your student’s skills a plan will be organized to address their areas of most need and how to get them to a place where they will be more confident in the classroom.
For reading fluency we will go over letter combinations and the subsequent letter sounds they make and how to code them. Parts of speech will be taught to go along with writing help and comprehension questions to make sure your student isn’t just reading but comprehending and understanding what is being read.
