About Nicole
Hi! I’m Nicole, and I’m passionate about languages and helping people feel more confident when learning them.
I speak English, Italian, French and Spanish, and I particularly enjoy helping students improve their conversational skills, pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar. I believe learning a language should be enjoyable and practical, so my lessons are adapted to each student’s level, goals and interests.
Whether you’re starting from scratch, preparing for an exam, improving your schoolwork, or simply wanting to become more comfortable speaking a language, I’m happy to help! I like creating relaxed and interactive lessons where you can practice without being afraid of making mistakes.
I’m patient, friendly and encouraging, and I’ll always try to make lessons engaging and suited to you. My goal is not only to help you improve your language skills, but also to make you feel confident using the language in real-life situations.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you reach your language goals!

My approach to tutoring is friendly, patient and personalised. I believe that students learn best when they feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions, so I aim to create a relaxed and encouraging environment where they can build confidence while improving their skills.
My lessons are adapted to each student’s individual level, goals and learning style. I like to combine conversation and practical exercises with grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation work, rather than relying solely on traditional textbook exercises. For language lessons in particular, I focus on helping students use the language naturally in real-life situations and become more confident communicating independently.
A typical lesson lasts approximately 60 minutes, although I am happy to adapt the length depending on the student's age, goals and preferences. I usually structure lessons around a combination of explanation, guided practice and interactive activities, leaving time to review what we have covered and identify areas to work on in future lessons.
I have a strong academic background in languages and have studied English, French and Spanish extensively. I have a particularly strong level of English, which I use confidently in both academic and everyday contexts. My experience studying languages in a school environment has also given me a good understanding of the challenges students can face when learning a foreign language.
My lessons are suitable for students of different ages and levels, from beginners who are building their foundations to more advanced students who want to improve their fluency, conversation skills, grammar or written expression. I am also happy to adapt lessons for students who need help with schoolwork, exams or general language confidence.
My main goal is for every student to leave a lesson feeling that they have learned something useful and, most importantly, feeling more confident than when they started.
