About Danielle
Hello! I am a graduating undergraduate law student studying at King's College London. My passions are reading, photography and travelling. I especially love seeing the world, so much so that I was fortunate to study abroad twice! Despite studying law, I have continued my passion for literature, studying Modern 21st Century American Literature while on my study abroad. I love teaching and being able to inspire confidence in young students with big dreams. Having experienced the same exams myself, I understand how daunting it is navigating such big exams. Thus, I appreciate the need for some support to later be able to walk into an exam with confidence and a peaceful mind. I focus on being able to push one's abilities, developing sophisticated thinking as well as essay writing, to achieve the best results as possible. I also have a TEFL Level 2 Certification, having received training in teaching the English Language. As a native speaker and studying law, I am proficient in conversational and business English for those wanting to develop their oral skills.

I have been tutoring GCSE English for over 3 years. My sessions are tailored to the specific needs of the student, letting the student take control of their own education! My sessions usually last 1-2 hours. I focus on learning and developing key skills through practice, as if one was doing the real exam. This means looking at several sources, depending on the exam, and analysing the text line-by-line, for example. Such exercises are to ensure that analysing and thinking critically about a text becomes muscle-memory! This will then translate into essay writing, and structuring an essay based off what the student had analysed across the text. At GCSE, I had attained Grade 9 and Grade 8 in English Language and English Literature, respectively. Further, I achieved an A* at A-Level in English Literature. I am now graduating from my law degree, and have experience in taking up university law entrance exams - the skills I have honed in English were crucial to my degree. I also have experience in tutoring GCSE Maths for over 4 years. Most of my students are currently in Year 10, preparing for their GCSE exams for their next academic year.

She is a good tutor she helped me in maths so that I could get a good grade for my GCSE. She helped me in how to understand questions and how to break it up. I'm thankful to her because if it wasn't for her I would have failed my maths GCSE. I highly recommended her teachings
Danielle tutored me for my English A levels, she helped me to receive an A in my final exams. She was very kind and helped me to improve the way I structure my essays.
Danielle is such a trustworthy tutor as she helps to teach in a straightfoward manner while also being patient and kind to help her students feel more confident in learning. In addition, she feels more like a friend than a stranger when trying to tutor which can help benefit her students to be more confident in answering exam style questions.
