I was a researcher in the chemical industry for 37 years following Bachelors in Chemistry (with Honors) and Ph. D. in physical chemistry. I have a record of patents, publications, and presentations at scientific conferences.
I am strongest in physical chemistry. I am weak in organic chemistry.

Solving problems is the key to learning chemistry (or math or physics). I will encourage students to solve problems that are typically located at the end of the chapter in a textbook. My teaching strategy will be to review these solutions.
