About Carl Philip

I obtained my bachelor's and master's degrees at the ETH Zurich in Switzerland, considered a top 10 university in the world according to many rankings (nevertheless, my mother tongue is English). During my time there, I was a TA for two years and even won an award for my excellence in teaching, as elected by the students. Additionally I have offered private tutoring, taught exam preparation courses, and corrected exams, so I know exactly what is looked for.

About the lesson

I tailor my classes according to my students' needs. If you are a visual learner, I will make sure to visualize the concepts to facilitate your understanding. If you need many different examples to understand something, that's what I will do. I am a firm believer in the power of asking questions for understanding, so I will take every question, no matter how "dumb" it may sound, seriously, because at the end of the day the lessons are for the student to learn and become a better mathematician. I have seen a lot of progress in all of my students, am highly motivated and engaging, and make the classes as interactive as I can. I offer mathematics lessons from high school to college prep to college. Let's get started!
