About George
Having thrived in my own education, achieving high results whilst acquiring life-changing knowledge and skills, I am keen to pass this on and nurture a passion for education in the next generation.
Last year, I decided to become a teaching assistant and tutor at a London secondary school. Having found the tutoring aspect far more fulfilling, I am now working as a private tutor and considering teacher training.
I also work as a freelance writer by which I've gained the skills and experience to help students improve their own writing, both essay and creative.
I am passionate about the arts, philosophy, ethics, meditation and mindfulness.

Most of my experience is in teaching English KS3 & GCSE. If the student shows up and participates, I can guarantee improvement.
I primarily aim to to meet the mark scheme whilst encouraging genuine creativity.
I would also like to use my degree to teach A-Level Philosophy & Ethics. Lessons can be of any length.
I have tend to have high-standards but an informal, flexible style.
I am also trained in mindfulness and compassion techniques and may offer them to a student in need.
