About
As a future educator I aim to inspire students and encourage them through positive affirmations, motivation, and a growth mindset. my lesson plans are Fun and engaging all while educational and research based. I use materials from the Virginia Language and Literacy Screening System (VALLSS) which I have received training in. I also pull resources from Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) when needed. I am bilingual in Spanish and English and can deeply relate to English language learners .

My lessons focus on the specific needs of each student who are in grades K-3. Lessons can be adapted for English Language Learners who are in higher grade levels. Phonics instruction focus on spelling patterns and spelling rules that students can recognize and decode while reading. These patterns include vowels in syllables, CVCe, short and long vowels, consonant blends and digraphs, R-controlled vowels and many more. My goal is to teach students these rules and help them understand how to apply them when reading through decoding. Students will be given material based off their reading level.
