About Kevin Adrian

I know math can feel overwhelming, but I’m here to make it simple, clear, and actually understandable. I’ve helped students at all levels build confidence in topics ranging from basic algebra to advanced statistics, and I always break things down step-by-step so nothing feels confusing or rushed. My goal isn’t just to teach you how to get the right answer—it’s to help you understand why the answer makes sense. I relate to students because I’ve been there too, staring at a problem that felt impossible until someone explained it the right way. With patience, real examples, and a comfortable learning pace, I’ll help you build the skills you need and show you that you’re capable of much more than you realize.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to help students master both foundational and advanced concepts in data analytics and software engineering, drawing from my academic background and professional experiences. As a current Master's student at Boston University in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Data Analytics, I ensure that my lessons reflect up-to-date industry practices. I also leverage my experiences from internships at Broadridge, Cardinal Health, and Johnson Controls, where I worked on projects involving SQL, data extraction, full-stack applications, and automation.

Lessons typically involve hands-on coding, problem-solving exercises, and real-world examples to ensure students gain practical, applicable skills. Whether we're working on mastering a programming language like Python, Java, or R, or diving into data manipulation with SQL or Excel formulas, I structure each session to be engaging and interactive. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into digestible parts, helping students build a strong foundation that they can expand upon independently.

My goal is to create an encouraging learning environment where students can comfortably ask questions, experiment, and grow their skills at their own pace. By the end of each session, students will have gained both technical knowledge and the confidence to apply what they've learned to real-world scenarios.
