About Amari
I am a teacher that focuses on the whole student, not just academics but also their social emotional learning as well. I ensure that students feel empowered by their learning and feel comfortable with their learning. I believe that students learn best from someone who they trust and are comfortable with and I make it my part of our learning. I work with students no matter their learning level and remind praise every step we take together as well as celebrate every milestone!

My lessons are developed based on students individualized needs. I typically follow the I do, We do, You do model where I model a skill for students, work with students on a similar example, and allow them to try on their own. Work is broken down based on student needs and abilities. Lessons are engaging and student oriented. Activities feel less like work and more like interactive and autonomous opportunities for learning.
