About Jeanie

Hi, I’m Jeanie, a qualified social worker and experienced English teacher with a passion for helping people grow in confidence and achieve their goals.

I have a BA degree in Humanities, specializing in Psychology and English Studies, as well as a qualification in Social Work. I have several years of teaching experience, including working in traditional classrooms and teaching English online to students from different countries and cultural backgrounds.

I believe that learning should be supportive, engaging and tailored to each individual. Whether you want to improve your conversational English, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary or overall confidence, I aim to create a comfortable environment where you can learn without feeling judged or afraid of making mistakes.

As a qualified social worker and educator, I bring patience, empathy and strong communication skills to every lesson. I understand that every student learns differently, and I enjoy adapting my teaching approach to suit each student’s needs and goals.

My aim is not only to help you improve your English, but also to help you feel more confident using it in everyday life.

About the lesson

I teach according to student needs and I believe classes should be interactive and engaging to the student. A typical class begins with a warm welcome and genuine check-in, then we follow a personalized class structured around a topic that the student finds interesting whilst also tackling the learning goals set by the student. I have taught young students and adults, from age 4 all the way to retirement, my classes are structured according to your needs.
