About Juliana

I started my teaching career with remedial classes, which consisted of clarifying concepts that students were having difficulty understanding in a traditional classroom setting. The entire class revolved around the best way to teach that specific student, by tailoring concepts in a way that would meet their needs. That is my main methodology: figuring out a way to make knowledge clear, not in my way, but in your way, by honoring each individual's learning style.

About the lesson

I specialize in one-on-one tutoring sessions designed to help struggling students finally get the grammar concepts that have been holding them back — explained in a tailored way that actually makes sense to them.

My classes revolve around students' interests and how to incorporate content that needs to be learned in a memorable experience, by turning what seems complex into an easy-to-grasp explanation. I will teach tricks and techniques that will make your learning smoother. I believe that a teacher that really understands what they are teaching is the one who is able to break down complicated rules and concepts into clear and easy ideas. Instead of long one-sided explanations, co-constructing learning with my students through a dialogue that encourages them to think for themselves and enables them to be the masters of their own learning process. More than just achieving a passing grade, I want to teach you a love of learning just for the fun of becoming a smarter you!
