About Shireen
Hi, I am a student studying neuroscience and thus am interested in everything to do with the brain! One of the many factors that I am interested in is how one’s brain learns new ideas and strengthens old concepts that have been incorrectly taught. To understand this, I thought it would be a good idea to teach students, allowing myself to gain firsthand experience.

I utilize a student-led approach to tutoring whereby I ask the student to explain a concept. In doing this, their problem areas are highlighted. We then strengthen these areas to ensure that the student has a strong basis of the concept.
