About Ellie
Hi! My name is Ellie Laird, and I am from Dallas, TX. I recently graduated as valedictorian from high school and will attend Washington University in St. Louis next year. I love teaching and currently work as an in person tutor in Dallas as well. I've taken 6 math classes throughout my high school years and feel confident in my abilities to pass down some of that knowledge. I'm so excited to meet everyone!

I love to interact with kids and believe that practicing is truly the best way for any student to learn math techniques. In my sessions, I begin by teaching the material and making sure the student is following along. Then, we continue with guided practice before moving onto solo practice. As a recent high school student and an incoming college student, I am able to relate to most kids and understand why they are struggling. My lessons are for any level of math, grades K - 12.
