About Bernadete

I am an English teacher graduated by Yes! Idiomas (Master's Degree) and an undergraduate student of Languages - Portuguese and English at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). I have experience teaching English as a second language and I have decided to teach English speakers how to speak brazilian Portuguese, since I'm a brazilian native. I also proofread texts in the Portuguese and/or English languages, as well as translate texts written in these idioms. My students often say that I pass on knowledge in a practical way, teaching them enough to achieve fluency more effectively than usual.

Active study, which is poorly encouraged by traditional language schools, is the key to learn a new language. Dialogue, writing, listening activities, grammar questions and interpretation of different kinds of texts in Portuguese are the perfect combo for fluency achieving in the fastest possible time. You will develop autonomy and have a properly qualified professional and a native speaker as your mentor, whom you can turn to whenever you need and want to.
