About Louisa
After having raised my children, I decided to return to university where I graduated with a first (honours) in Psychology. I am currently working towards a postgraduate degree in Health Psychology and aim to be a researcher and lecturer in this field.
Having returned to education after 20 years, I am aware of the issues and difficulties faced by students, particularly in the aftermath of the pandemic and online learning.

Each student is an individual with individual needs. As such I will work alongside the students to set lesson plans so that study supports their coursework, and although primarily I tutor GCSE and A'level students, I will consider undergraduate students on an individual basis. Lesson length will vary depending on the needs of the student but will generally be between 45-60 minutes.
I have experience of working with students in primary schools, and for many years, I volunteered as a girl guide leader, working with a range of children from a diverse set of backgrounds, both neurotypical and neurodivergent.
