About Sirlene

I worked as a language teacher at IQ School and Colleges since August 2017. In this institution she teaches English language at the Canoas unit. The groups are groups of different levels, always prioritizing and encouraging the interaction between the students in English, with the help of a platform provided by the school. In October 2016, I took an emergency contract with the State, at the Visconde school in São Leopoldo, with classes from elementary school II (6th grade to 9th grade) and at the Vila Lobos school with EJA (adult education) classes, both with teaching English. In the year of 2018, I started at Frederico Schmidt's technical school with the teaching of English for high school classes.

About the lesson

. I prioritize teaching and learning of students in a contextualized way, thereby encouraging them to face challenges and the hindrances of learning a second language. Facilities with media work and their use in the classroom. In the Portuguese language classes my planning is in the study and learning through the genres of text, in this sense I contemplate the teaching of grammar, spelling and textual production.

Conheci a prof. Sirlene este ano (2018), na minha atual escola Frederico Guilherme Schmidt. Desde o início sempre nos incentivou em sua aula, com várias propostas de aulas diferentes, e ao meu ponto de vista inovadoras como ferramentas de estudo. Ela é o tipo de professora que se entende bem com os alunos, com uma ótima relação "aluno X professor" o que acredito ser algo muito bom para o cotidiano e também para a melhor aprendizagem.
