About Costanza
After the triennial in Philosophy in Rome, I decided to move to England to follow my passion for art and writing. After 3 wonderful years in which I let myself be captivated by English culture and taught Italian privately, I decided to go to the Netherlands to complete my course in humanities. This long and intense experience out gave me the opportunity not only to improve my language skills, but also to structure my teaching method. I started with editing and corrections of English texts, to then give private lessons of conversation and comprehension of texts to students less sure of their linguistic abilities. I learned to adapt my knowledge to the person in front of me, balancing a push to improve and attention to not giving too much information. When I teach, my greatest aim is practical, in the sense of ensuring that the student understands what is important, even errors, and how to think about it the next time.

My methodology is based on the individual needs of the student. After the first cognitive lesson, the following lessons will be structured to improve the weaker aspects between written and oral. To this, listening exercises, vocabulary and grammar are always combined. In general, I prefer to take the reading as a task, leaving the student with the initial understanding and starting from the assigned text to structure the following exercises. At the reading, depending on the student's needs, a summary and grammatical analysis can also be combined.
