About Ségolène
During one year I accompanied a student for his last year of secondary school: his notes in Italian oscillated between 5 and 9, lowering his general average mark to 15 out of 20. We managed together to make it go up to 13 of average in Italian.
During the same period, I had taught English for a few months to an adult student. He was motivated, but unfortunately, being a farmer, he had to give up quickly because he had no time for studying anymore.

I first studied in the field of Literature until A-level, then went on with foreign Languages by graduating in a Bachelor Degree in Languages and Economics.
My French classes are mainly for Primary and Middle School students, but I can also help students in more advanced classes who would have difficulties with French, or adults in the same situation.
During the first hour, I check with my student where he/she is at, what are the things he/she needs to work on the most. If it is a student still attending school, I accompany him/her throughout the program, explain again what he/she may not have understood in class, strengthen his/her weak spots.
I often try to find out what are my student's interests, the subjects that he/she is passionate about, the activities that he/she likes to practice, to find texts that treat about it so that learning is done in the best possible conditions. On the other hand, each person has a learning method that is most efficient for them: if my student does not already know which is his/hers, I will try different methods with him/her to find out which one (or which ones) will enable him/her to learn new things.
