About Katiyah
I have been playing the violin since I was about 12 years old. I am now almost 20. Violin is my absolute passion and I would love to see it become someone else’s! I had an amazing private tutor and I saw how happy tutoring made her. When she retired, all of her students, both present and former, were sad to see her go. However, I found another tutor just as amazing as her. He happened to be my former teacher from freshman and sophomore year of high school! They both will forever hold a special place in my heart. They made me love what I do and I hope to make them proud by doing the same.

Katiyah, or Kat as she prefers to be called, is amazing at math and science! She helped my daughter in 8th grade out so much in school. Even when she was just a senior in high school trying to graduate, she made time to help Paige and I couldn’t thank her enough! She got my baby into math and now she’s killing it in class! She’s now in 10th grade and nothing has changed, thankfully.
Kat is honestly sooooo freaking nice and patient! Not only did she know what she was talking about violin wise, but she made sure I understood everything she was saying!
