About Heather
Hi, I’m Heather, a professional photographer with formal photography education and hands-on experience. I specialize in working with beginners and enjoy helping students feel comfortable and confident with their camera from the very start. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and easy to follow, with lessons broken down into simple steps and real-world examples. I focus on the fundamentals, answer questions without judgment, and help students learn at their own pace in a relaxed, encouraging environment—both online and in person.

Hi, I’m Heather! My teaching approach is hands-on, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s goals. I break photography down in a clear, easy-to-understand way and focus on building confidence through real shooting and editing practice. Lessons are relaxed, practical, and customized—whether you’re learning camera basics, improving composition and lighting, or refining your editing workflow. I teach beginners through intermediate students, both online and in person, and I love helping photographers grow their skills and find their own style.
