About Josh
I am formerly a center tutor for a nation wide tutoring chain. I have a degree in Mathematics from Truckee Meadows Community college and am in the final semester of my undergraduate degree at UNR, studying Applied Mathematics, Chemistry, and Computer Science.
I have experience tutoring in small groups and individually. I really enjoy working one on one with students to understand where their knowledge is lacking and helping them build themselves up to not only achieve their main goal (getting a good grade on a test, passing a class, preparing for a certification exam.) but to also achieve a higher mathematical understanding that they can carry forward in their lives.

I have a passion for Math, Science, and all things learning. I enjoy working with people and their material so they can absorb as much as possible and not come away frustrated and discouraged. I try to match where people are in their math skills and build up their knowledge to accomplish whatever goal they set out achieve. I love helping people of all ages and strengths, there is never a bad time to continue learning math.
