About Abdurrahman
I graduated from high school in the United States and went on to attend the University of Wisconsin–Parkside, where I double majored in Accounting and Finance with honors. During my time there, I served as President of the International Student Club and actively supported international students as they adjusted to university life.
I also volunteered throughout all four years, offering free classes two to three times per week to help students improve their reading and writing skills. In addition, I supported accounting and finance students by breaking down complex concepts into simpler, more understandable ideas.
Alongside my studies, I worked part-time at a local healthcare facility as an Arabic translator, helping patients communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and ensuring they fully understood their care.

I’ve been there. Arabic is my first language, and when I returned to the United States after many years overseas, I struggled with English—especially after being a top student before. My first year was challenging, so I dedicated a full semester to improving my vocabulary, reading, and learning proper grammar. It wasn’t easy, but it paid off.
Since then, I’ve made it a priority to help others facing similar challenges. I’ve volunteered extensively, supporting students at different levels—from high school to college—using the same methods that helped me succeed.
