About Shelby
I am a graduate of UTC with a major in Biology. I worked in undergrad research studying genes in the biochemistry department, which has led me to now work in Clinical Research. I am passionate about learning and teaching others. I really enjoy teaching math - I love helping a student understand a complicated topic by way of fun and exciting tutoring tools!

My lessons will be fun and engaging, implementing a variety of teaching styles until we find the best one for the student. I am here for the student and will go at his/her preferred pace. I don’t mind going over and over concepts until the student fully understands the topic - this allows us to try different methods that work for the student in reaching their “Ah Ha!” moment. Overall, I want to do all I can to aid in the success of the student!
