About Nicholas
One of my main teaching philosophies is the idea of having a mutually respectful relationship with each of my students. I treat them as young adults, rather than children. So, I also expect for them to reciprocate my respectful manner. Furthermore, I like to make these subject areas fun for the students! If I'm able to shift a student's mindset from being scared of the content to having fun and understanding it, then that is a win for me!

As a tutor, I treat each session uniquely; depending on the subject area and needs of the student. Utilizing visual models along with deciphering material that may be difficult are a few strategies I use! One area of science that intimidates students is the high level vocabulary. So, my goal is to break down each of these terms in order for the student to be able to better understand the root of the necessary knowledge.
