As an English tutor, my approach is rooted in communication, clarity, and cultural connection. I firmly believe that learning a language is more than just grammar rules—it's about expressing yourself with confidence, understanding context, and making it meaningful. Teaching Method & Techniques I use a communicative and student-centered method, where real-life conversation is the foundation of learning. My techniques include: TPR (Total Physical Response) for memory anchoring Visual aids & storytelling for better comprehension Personalized vocabulary building based on the student’s goals Error correction through encouragement and reflective self-correction Cultural immersion elements, especially idioms, slang, and expressions used in everyday American English I also implement adaptive learning: I observe how each student learns best—auditory, visual, or kinesthetic—and adjust my approach accordingly. A Typical Lesson Plan Each lesson is structured yet flexible, and usually includes: Warm-up: small talk, review of previous session (5 min) Core lesson: grammar, vocabulary or pronunciation focus (15 min) Interactive practice: conversation, roleplay, real-life scenarios (20 min) Feedback & reflection: corrections, notes, and motivation (5-10 min) Mini homework: short, practical tasks (optional) I also prepare custom PDF notes or flashcards if needed, to help students retain what they learn.
