About Kiona

Hi I'm Kiona, a recent graduate from the University of Florida and have an extensive background in tutoring and mentoring and truly enjoy tutoring others. I am very responsive and generally am always able to help even outside of our normal session times. Also, since being a previous tutor I have many resources of my own that I can provide to students to aid their own learning and I also can create new resources based on the student's need to further solidify any difficult concepts.

About the lesson

I use a very detailed teaching method that assesses a student's understanding and works to fill in any gaps of understanding a student may have as well as making sure to break all topics all the way down before building up new concepts and information. I am very responsive as well so whenever a student may have questions outside of our dedicated meeting times I am generally able to help. I also provide resources outside of my own teaching materials to give students a different perspective which may allow them to understand better.
