About Leah
Hello! My name is Leah (Lay-uh). I'm a graduate of the University at Albany, class of 2024. I studied English, history, and I had a minor in philosophy. I have over 5 years of education experience and was a peer educator in college. I am very eager to start working with students again because I love to learn and inspire others.

My classes are for anyone who needs to feel confident in history and/or English. My teaching approach is centered around turning the information into relatable, fun, bite-sized pieces. I meet students where they are academically to structure the lesson that will fit their needs. I believe learning best takes place when students feel comfortable being curious! I emphasize organization, strong communication skills, and clear thinking that will not only help students thrive in their classes but throughout their careers.
