About Frederique
French, based in London since 2005. I’m classically trained. I recorded for various artists and rock bands from the age of 16. I was also part of the rock band ‘outside royalty’ for 10 years, signed with Sony and played the biggest festivals in the UK (Glastonbury with the Young knives, V festival, Lovebox etc)
I’ve had the pleasure and privilege to play in all kinds of venues, from small private events to huge stadiums, visiting beautiful countries, playing all styles of music and meeting incredible people. One of my teaching highlights these last years has been to coach the cello section of the NYOW.

Lessons tailored to students’ needs.
I play and teach piano, as well as music theory. Preparation for schools scholarships and auditions.
I use my French music theory upbringing, as well as the British system in my teaching. My experiences as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral player, and course leader enhance teaching. I mix my international teachers’ techniques and my own, as well as encouraging my students to use their creativity to sort their own problems. Skills that will not only apply to music but to many different areas in their lives, with a healthy confidence. Witnessing my students reaching this stage is the biggest reward.
