I’m a graduate of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, the top fine arts university in China. I’ve spent years teaching AP Art History, Art Appreciation, and Photography to students from different countries. I’m passionate about making art accessible, meaningful, and enjoyable, helping learners understand culture, creativity, and visual storytelling with clarity and confidence. I teach Art history, AP Art history, Art Appreciation and Photography . My lessons are structured, visual, and easy to follow. I break down complex ideas in Art History, Art Appreciation using timelines, comparison charts, storytelling, and step-by-step analysis. Students learn how to recognize styles, understand cultural context, and explain artworks with clarity and confidence. Each class is interactive, engaging, and designed to help you improve quickly without feeling overwhelmed.
What I love most about this subject is that it’s not just about “looking at pretty objects.” Art History is a giant story about human creativity ,full of cultures, politics, religions, inventions, and ideas that shaped the world we live in.
I like to keep my classes structured, but also light and enjoyable.
I use clear visual explanations, comparison charts, story-based teaching, and super simple writing frameworks that help you remember things without feeling overwhelmed.
