Graduated from TCU in 2016 with a BS in Political Science and a Minor in History, and received my teaching credential in 2019. I was a teacher for 5 years teaching various subjects in Social Studies.

About Brittany
I can about students and their growth and learning. I was teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade history for the last three years. Before that, I taught 9th, and 11th grade. It is important for me to meet students where they are at and help them build their skills. I want to make sure students feel confident and enjoy history and how it connects with us today.

I want to make sure students can access the information no matter their grade level. When I teach, I want to make sure students are engaged with the topic but also building their skills. Using technology in a healthy way to further student's skills is great. Reading to learn can be hard but I love to help students with this. My lessons and skills would be mainly 6-8th grade, however I have experience teaching high school as well! I love US History but have also taught Geography, World History, and Ancient Civilizations.
