About Joakim

I am an open and positive person who enjoys meeting new people. I have taught many students before (fx as a music teacher and gymnastics coach) and have experience with many different personalities - there is room for everyone here. For some, it might feel difficult asking for help from tutors. Therefore, is the most important thing for me to create a safe environment for the student, so that the student doesn't feel pressured having to perform, but finds joy in really being able to develop their skillset at their own pace.

About the lesson

I teach everyone up to and including high school level French A. My teaching is individualized and adapted to each student, focusing mainly on process achievements and a positive attitude towards the subject. I Usually start the first lesson with a sense of the student's level. I want to create a safe environment from which we can continue working together. My lessons will be mainly concentrating on one topic at a time; respectively linguistic understanding, pronunciation, writing, grammar etc., but the teaching is shaped primarily according to the student's strengths and weaknesses, and can easily be varied according to which learning methods are best suited for the student.
