About Connor
I am a highly qualified professional educator. I have certification to teach fifth grade - High school as well as a certification as a K-12 Principal. I am a committed individual whose only focus is helping those students that are in my care. I believe that all students can learn and should learn at whatever pace they are comfortable with. I am currently a high school history teacher as well so I not only come with past experience but current experience that will keep me sharp and focused during our sessions. Your success is all I am focused on and if you have not achieved your goals, then I have failed not you. I assure you I will give my all to helping anyone in my sessions get where they want to be.

Taking lessons with me means you will be getting a fun and engaging way of learning. Learning with me will involve little talking at you and more conversations, discussion and hands on learning. My lesson plans typically involve an opening question related to the material, an explanation of our goals for the session, a hands-on or interactive activity and then individual work time focused on the goals from the session. These lessons can be geared towards a variety of ages from fifth grade all the way up to Seniors in high school. What sets me a part as a tutor, especially a History tutor is that I can go beyond the facts and figures that come with history. I can help students with writing skills, research skills and a variety of other education skills that are cross curricular and can help students improve in other subjects like english, reading, writing, etc. I can help students achieve goals that will help them beyond middle school and high school and can prepare them for college and beyond.
