About Hannah
I have been teaching at Grove Elementary for 4 years. I do private lessons with students who take music/guitar. The guitar is one of the most sought-after instruments to play because it is so much fun and a great learning experience. Every student I have taught has gone on to play in recitals, and concerts, some have even joined or started their own bands. Learning how to read music also gives you a major head start in all areas of music. If you can read music, you can play any song.

Working in an elementary school has allowed me to work with many different types of children. I teach beginner basic guitar aspects like picking, strumming, chords, and sheet/music reading. Not only do I teach guitar, but I can also teach the ukelele and piano. A typical lesson would consist of book work, like reviewing how to read sheet music, looking at a chord progression, and learning how to play the chords first, then putting them into the song.
