About Aysha
I teach because I believe in the transformative power of language — not just as a means of expression, but as a way of thinking, questioning, and connecting. English as a discipline gives us tools to read the world critically, to write with clarity and purpose, and to engage with ideas across time, cultures, and identities. Helping students develop those tools is not just meaningful — it’s necessary.

I work with students who are intellectually curious and open to exploring how English as a discipline helps us engage with the world around us. You don’t need to have all the answers — in fact, some of the best work begins with uncertainty and good questions. Whether you’re interested in literary studies, cultural theory, creative writing, or interdisciplinary approaches, I’m happy to support your development as a thinker and writer.
My approach to supervision and teaching is mentorship-based. That means I don’t just give instructions or assign grades. I take the time to understand what interests you, what challenges you, and how you want to grow. Together, we’ll work through ideas, drafts, doubts, and breakthroughs — with a focus on depth, clarity, and originality.
