About Alex
So, a little about me... Math has always been more than just numbers and equations for me – it's a way of thinking, a language of logic, and honestly, a bit of an art form. Ever since I was a kid, I was fascinated by patterns and puzzles. I remember spending hours trying to figure out the Rubik's Cube and getting lost in logic games. That love for problem-solving led me straight to Harvard, where I dove headfirst into the world of mathematics. I really thrived in the challenging environment, and the professors there were incredible. Abstract algebra and number theory were my absolute favorites – the elegance and the underlying structures just blew my mind. But beyond the academic side of things, I also spent a lot of time tutoring and leading workshops with the Harvard Math Club. That's where I discovered my passion for teaching and realized how much I enjoy helping others unlock their own mathematical potential. It's incredibly rewarding to see that "aha!" moment when a concept finally clicks for someone. Now that I've graduated, I'm excited to continue sharing my love for math and helping students of all levels conquer their math challenges and discover the beauty of this amazing subject.
