Graduated from Grambling State University, been teaching middle school math for over 5 years

I have known Willie for many years. His sincerity and dedication to the success of those he encounters is always forefront. Willie’s tenacious attitude ensures his students master the concepts of mathematics. Willie presents this challenging subject with an “I can” approach. He never allows his students to say “I can’t do this it’s hard.” Willie encourages “I can’t yet” attitudes from the first day building the student’s self-esteem and self-worth. Willie encourages all he encounters, students, parents, colleagues, as well as administrators. Willie’s students have shown growth in mathematics every year. He uses a holistic approach to teaching math revealing the student’s prior knowledge and builds upon that knowledge to ensure student mastery of concepts.

During the 20 years that I've known Willie, his passion for education has always been evident. With relevant credentials, extensive experience, and expertise in mathematics teaching, Willie's credibility as a knowledgeable teacher is unquestionable.
