About Michelle
I completed my schooling with the science stream in Oman (CBSE), and yet nurtured my passion for the social sciences. I completed my bachelor's in psychology, with honours, and I'm on my way to pursue an MSc. in Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology. I am also passionate about the field of psychooncology.
I have tutored family, friends and mutuals for over 5 years, and I have been trained in lecturing classes as an undergraduate student. I also partake in flip-teaching and mediation of group discussions and debates. I also plan to engage in the field of special education for toddlers and children soon. Teaching is something I find interesting because it is engaging and keeps me learning as well.

My teaching style is inspired by science, social studies and philosophy teachers, and I love to use analogies, metaphors, diagrams, artwork and maps to demonstrate and understand the abstract or complex concepts. I usually start with a discussion to understand what the student already knows, and to set the tone for the class, followed by an interactive, visually aided class. My teaching style is appropriate for middle and high schoolers seeking to learn a variety of subjects, as well as undergraduate students majoring in psychology.
