About Ellie
Teaching is an incredibly rewarding career. I have taught dance for 5 years with university-aged students as well as small children. I always embrace fun and make sure to create memorable and exciting lessons that are catered to specific learners. I have worked in a SEND school with children who have a wide variety of learning and support needs, this has made me very adaptable and hands-on in my approach. I seek to support students with their learning in and out of the classroom and am very dedicated to the success of my students.

I am a very hands-on teacher with experience in SEND education as well as mainstream learning. My expertise is in primary education, focusing on core skills and development with a student-centred approach. I prioritise the learning style of individuals and take care to build meaningful relationships with my students, creating a welcoming and safe learning environment. A typical lesson would be 20 minutes long as this is the optimal found for student concentration and retention of information with time for practice and review. I have a degree in English Language and Literature and have worked in a SEND primary school as well as an SEMH primary school working with children with additional social and emotional needs. This experience makes me a compassionate and patient educator. I am currently training with Teach First in secondary education so am very flexible to teach all key stages.
