About Julian
I grew up in Temecula before attending UCSD, where I graduated with the Class of 2025. I am currently in my gap year while applying to medical school. I now work as a research assistant studying melanoma in the Department of Dermatology at UCSD. In my free time, I enjoy judo, going to the gym, running, and spending time with my family and friends.

Oftentimes, there are a few core concepts in each subject whether it be organic chemistry, algebra, mechanics, etc. I teach my students to understand these core concepts so that they can apply them as well as have a reference point when facing problems.
Lessons usually revolve around what students bring to work on: homework, study guide for midterm, their last exam. Based on the material, I will demonstrate a few times and then have the student try on their own. My goal by the end of the lesson is to make sure that they are able to explain and do the problem on their own. Eventually, once you learn how to study from me, you shouldn't need me anymore :)
