About Mehak

Well, I am an Aerospace Engineer. I mainly work as an Aircraft Design Engineer. I had always been a numbers person and obviously found it cool. The reason why I want to teach is I have been a student too for most of my life and I understand what you go through, what are your concerns, be it your tireless effort to ace your trades or your lack of interest in a subject. I, myself, have struggled a lot as a student. I also had to learn a lot in a very short span of time without understanding the concepts and applications of what it is just to pass the exam, often losing interest and focus. I found it hard to study when I was told by the teachers that we have learned the given concepts/topics before or in some other subject, some other class. Whereas, I simultaneously noticed that I used to be excited for the classes where the focus is not on the 3rd question of exercise 5 on page 47 rather it was based on the meaning of the new concept, linking it to the previous ones and telling us why we are assuming things, what's the application of such assumptions, how we can map the answer out in our mind first just by understanding the question, how we can solve one problem with multiple methods and what is the purpose of doing all this. That is when I decided that I would want to be the kind of teacher that students look forward to, the teacher who does not need a book to teach and whose students do not need to memorize laws and formulas. A teacher who will help them to think out of the box, who will let them see the creativity of Science, the art of numbers.
