I worked as a tutor throughout college in a variety of subjects, teaching is my passion!

I try to take a four-pronged approach to allow for healthier learning patterns well after the student does NOT have a tutor.
1) Identifying the current hold up that's preventing them from understanding a certain concept, i.e., what cognitive patterns are they stuck in?
2) Intuitively explain the concept via visualizations that will stay in the student's mind.
3) Quantify a visual explanation, i.e., what does this visualization mean in numbers?
4) Practice, practice, practice! To make sure the concept is continually applied to cement understanding.
I can teach arithmetic all the way up to college level calculus/statistics. I find that working with a diverse group of students is the best way to stay engaged.
