About Farha

I have always had a strong enthusiasm for learning, particularly in areas such as science, medicine and literature. I enjoy exploring how different subjects connect with one another and developing a broad, holistic understanding of the world. This curiosity is something I would love to share with others through tutoring.
I want to teach because I find it genuinely rewarding to help someone discover an interest in a subject or overcome something they initially found difficult. I believe that education is about more than simply memorising information; it is about developing curiosity, critical thinking and confidence. Through tutoring, I hope to encourage students to become enthusiastic, independent learners while helping them achieve their academic goals.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, whether that's mastering difficult concepts, improving exam technique, or building confidence. I use a combination of clear explanations, worked examples, active recall, and practice questions to help students develop a deep understanding of the subject while building the skills needed to succeed in exams.

Lessons typically last 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged during exam periods or for intensive revision.

I am an IB graduate with 44/45 points, achieving Higher Level in Biology, Chemistry, and English Literature. I have also received an offer to study Medicine, giving me first-hand experience of the competitive medical school application process. I can therefore provide support not only with academic studies but also with medical school preparation, including personal statements, interview preparation (MMIs and traditional interviews), and application advice.

I offer online tutoring for GCSE and IB students, particularly in Biology, Chemistry, English Literature, and ESS. My lessons are suitable for students of all abilities, whether they are looking to improve their confidence, achieve top grades, or prepare for university applications.
