About Robert
I am a computer science graduate with extensive experience in the areas mathematics and physics. I understand that a good teacher means the difference between love and hate for a certain subject. I’ve had my share of both good and bad teachers and so I understand how to be effective and what pitfalls to avoid. A good teacher should adjust to students and always consider the student’s perspective and unique needs. I am passionate about being a good teacher and so teaching, comprehension, and clarity are embedded into my personality. It is my goal to be the best educator I can be.

I have mentored students during my time as a student at both Rutgers University and Thomas Edison State University and have continued tutoring friends and family for several years after graduating. I primarily help university-aged students comprehend complex mathematical and scientific material, generally in a one-on-one setting. I am able to create enthusiasm for the subjects within my students by considering what it would take to make the material enjoyable for that particular student. The reason I have chosen tutoring is because I find gratification and a sense of accomplishment in seeing my students succeed.
