About Jasper
Hey! My name is Jasper and I've just graduated from Oxford University with a degree in philosophy, politics and economics. I am a wholehearted and proud nerd: I love my subject. However, the powers that be continue to make every attempt to drain these subjects of all their energy and excitement. I'd like to help you see them for what they are: essential tools for understanding how the world around us works, and how it doesn't.
Beyond a love for the subject I'm a fan of organisation and working smart not hard (or at least, unnecessarily hard!) I will help you work in the most efficient way, and approach your exams for what they are: specific tasks to be completed, not general tests of knowledge. Together, we'll go through the tips and tricks to get you that top grade.

I can customise lessons according to student needs. In the past, some of my most popular lessons have included:
(1) Interview practice for university interview, including authentic, nowhere else, practice questions.
(2) Personal statement assistance, including developing ideas and writing style for optimum results in applications to elite universities.
(3) Topic introduction, bringing in super curricular material from beyond the ordinary to give you that special advantage ahead of other students.
(4) In-depth dives into topics, revising and developing content covered in class to allow greater understanding.
(5) Exam preparation. Analysing strengths and weaknesses in exam technique and essay writing in order to maximise results.
I am flexible; each person learns in their own way, and my lessons reflect that.
