About Mary
I’m a firm believer that all the most complex ideas can and should be explained in the simplest of terms. I am passionate about helping people understand, share and apply knowledge easily. There is a learning style suited to each and everyone of us and it’s my job as your tutor to find which one works for you and help you make the most of your ability with it. I used to work in investment management, taking complex ideas, simplifying them and pitching them to major investment firms. I have an MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship and an BSc Hons in Industrial Economics.

For me it is important to understand the needs of every student, what their learning styles maybe, as well as their strengths, weaknesses and goals are.
Once that is understood our sessions take the form of a conversation, the student can and is encouraged to stop me when they don’t understand and ask questions. Together we will work on area they struggle on and I will answer any questions they might have about how it will work.
