About Jazab

I am currently pursuing a BEng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering at the University of Bath, with a 2:1 grade in my first year. My A-Level results include A*s in Mathematics and Language, along with high marks in Chemistry and Engineering subjects. At GCSE level, I achieved 9 GCSEs with grades 7-9, including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Computing.

My experience includes completing an advanced MATLAB programming course and participating in engineering lab reports. Outside of academics, I demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills through football, earning a spot with the Crystal Palace Foundation, and gained cultural adaptability through travel to four countries.

I am committed to fostering confidence in my students, drawing on my academic achievements, practical skills, and diverse experiences to establish credibility and professionalism.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach begins with an engaging icebreaker related to the student's struggles in GCSE maths, setting a warm and comfortable atmosphere before delving into more complex topics. I then proceed with thorough teaching of the content, addressing any questions the student may have along the way. I'm also happy to allocate extra time to review past paper example questions. As a regular student, you'll receive my contact number for any mathematical inquiries outside of lessons, as I'm passionate about math and always available to assist.

My teaching methodology prioritizes creating a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and actively participate. Lessons are tailored to the student's individual needs and learning style, ensuring comprehension and retention of the material.

Each lesson typically lasts 1.5 - 2 hours allowing for comprehensive coverage of topics while maintaining student engagement.

With a degree from the University of Bath and a background in engineering, I bring extensive subject knowledge and practical experience to my tutoring sessions. My lessons cater to students at the GCSE level, focusing on enhancing mathematical skills and confidence.
