About Kevin
I'm a dedicated History educator with 8 years full-time secondary experience and over 5 years remote teaching experience. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Education (Arts) and have successfully guided hundreds of students through national examinations, challenging curricula, and university entrance requirements.
My teaching is results-oriented, focusing on deep conceptual understanding, structured essay writing, analysis of sources, and exam techniques tailored to the learners' goals. My patient approach, clear explanations, consistent feedback, and engaging narratives are appreciated by students as it builds confidence and knowledge.

With over 10 years of teaching experience, both classroom and online, I use critical thinking, storytelling and relevant connections to bring the past to life today. I employ a student-centered style which entails identifying their exact needs and gaps then tailoring timelines, source analysis, and expectations to these levels and exam requirements. Lessons combine active discussion, structured content review, targeted practice, and model answers. My emphasis is on understanding rather than memorization with constructive feedback intended to build confidence and grades.
