About Mbali
I am a graduate teacher specializing in biology and geography. I have studied for Secondary teaching at the University of the Witwatersrand and obtained a BEd degree. In the four years of my studying I have been given the opportunity to teach various grades which was described as distinctive by my university tutors.

I construct my lessons around the learner by taking note of their prior knowledge on the topic at hand. I also look at the learners' background to see how is it going to affect the way the learner understands the content knowledge. Usually, I use a visual stimulus or a scenario to start the lesson. This helps me see how much the learners already know and how to develop the lesson from that.
