About Jackie

I want you to know that I take my role as your teacher and tutor very seriously. I am prepared, organized, and committed to maintaining a professional, respectful learning environment where everyone feels supported and challenged appropriately. I’ve worked with many students at different levels, which means I understand that learning doesn’t look the same for everyone. If something doesn’t click right away, that’s okay—I have multiple ways to explain and approach material until it makes sense. You can trust that I am here to help you succeed. I hold high standards because I believe you are capable of meeting them, and I will give you the guidance and feedback you need to improve. My goal is not just short-term success on assignments or tests, but long-term confidence and growth as a learner. Above all, I respect you. I value your effort, your questions, and your time. When you work with me, you can be confident that you’re learning from someone who is prepared, reliable, and genuinely invested in your success.

About the lesson

You should want me as your teacher because I actually care about you, not just the content. I want you to understand why things work, not just memorize answers to get through a test. My goal isn’t to “catch” you making mistakes—it’s to help you grow from them.

I’m organized and clear, so you’ll always know what’s expected, but I’m also human. I know school can be stressful, life can be messy, and some days your brain just isn’t braining. I’ll push you to do your best, but I’ll also support you when things get hard.

In my classroom, you’ll be respected. Your questions matter. Your effort matters. I believe every student is capable of improvement, no matter where you’re starting from—and I don’t give up on people.

I also try to make learning engaging and real, not just “because it’s on the test.” I want you to leave my class not only smarter, but more confident in yourself.
